This dynamic, high-energy course is designed specifically for students in grades 3–5 to explore the fundamentals of acting, creativity, and stage presence. Taught by Bonnie Rosario, young performers will build confidence through a series of interactive games, collaborative exercises, and scene work, while discovering the essential tools of the trade: voice, body, and imagination. What Students Will Experience The Actor’s Toolkit: Develop physical expression and vocal projection to bring characters to life. Improvisation Adventures: Learn the art of "Yes, And" through fun, fast-paced games that build quick thinking and teamwork. Character Creation: Discover how to build a character from the ground up by exploring motivations, movement, and distinct personality traits. Script Exploration: Dive into age-appropriate scenes and monologues, learning how to analyze text and make bold performance choices. Ensemble Building: Foster a supportive environment where every student learns the value of listening, focusing, and supporting their fellow actors. Why Join?
