Service Description

Mondays 10:45 - 11:30 AM August 18 - December 8 No class September 1, October 13, November 24 Recital is Monday Dec 8 This class is all about imagination! Students will learn to express themselves in these weekly group classes through their voice and body and work together as an ensemble to tell stories. There will be games, focus activities, and lots of play! Children will have opportunities to sing, dance, and act. Target Skills: Verbal and physical storytelling: Students will be able to tell a cohesive story from start to finish. Students will also begin to learn how to use movement to express characters, emotions, and stories. Vocal inflection/acting and physical acting: Students will learn how to act out emotions and characters using their voices and movement. Confidence and public speaking: Students will become comfortable speaking in front of the group and learn to communicate ideas more clearly and cohesively. Each Imagination Group class has a relatively similar structure, with slight variation depending on the size of the class and the interests of the children. Minimum class size: 3
